lyrics
self-trapped in a shell. moving through bitterness. drawing a line between me and the ones who live on the outside, who follow what is written down in random bastards artful books. anywhere i roam. i do it on my own. it’s too late for an early grave. nothing to do to get saved. we come from nowhere. that’s where we go. stop running your fucking mouth. stop labeling who you are. cause you are nothing but rotting flesh. one spell for the fall of man and all their false ideals. i am the shepherd. i am the sheep. i pledge allegiance to none in here. i pledge allegiance to no one. we are nothing but rotting flesh.

It's a MONSTER! Deep and slow riffing & double bass attack: Reminds at old Bolt Thrower, but with own sound and own style- I love this bastard. Igor Asambosam

While Ofte jeg drømmer mig død will most likely always be my favourite Afsky album (being one ov my favourite albums in general), Om hundrede år ticks all the boxes I hoped it would: the calm and simultaneously depressing folk elements are there; the wailing screams of a forlorn spirit, forced to eternally wander the woods (apt comparison, deadpunk!); the harsh, bitterly cold guitar riffs and the ultimate realisation of life, death and our inevitable undoing. Exactly what I want. Recommended! David Fischer

One of the best black metal bands of the last 8 years, which means they're beyond the boring tropes of the label. Intelligent and innovative with music geared towards the emotive ends of the work, not an adornment of scene badges or theatrical misanthropy. stevstemac
The UK four-piece summon the ghosts of metal past to create an unsparing album that's unmistakably contemporary. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 30, 2022
The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 19, 2019
