lyrics
set me free. you’re the ocean in my head. fade away inside you. satisfied. nearly dead. embrace me. i’m getting lost in this dream. once again i’m passing the clouds quietly. and as the shame grows my dreams go to die. is this the living in life? the sky turns grey again. you, the goddess, set me free. tries to step out of the circle. regrets. failure. salvation never comes. oh sweet mother numb my pain and release me from suffering. through all the endless days
and restless nights trying to ignore the everlasting affection. through all the nights without sleep. hiding myself. counting sheep. i hoped to die. as the shame grows my dreams got to die. is this what it takes to reclaim my life step by step? getting out alive…

It's a MONSTER! Deep and slow riffing & double bass attack: Reminds at old Bolt Thrower, but with own sound and own style- I love this bastard. Igor Asambosam

While Ofte jeg drømmer mig død will most likely always be my favourite Afsky album (being one ov my favourite albums in general), Om hundrede år ticks all the boxes I hoped it would: the calm and simultaneously depressing folk elements are there; the wailing screams of a forlorn spirit, forced to eternally wander the woods (apt comparison, deadpunk!); the harsh, bitterly cold guitar riffs and the ultimate realisation of life, death and our inevitable undoing. Exactly what I want. Recommended! David Fischer

One of the best black metal bands of the last 8 years, which means they're beyond the boring tropes of the label. Intelligent and innovative with music geared towards the emotive ends of the work, not an adornment of scene badges or theatrical misanthropy. stevstemac
The UK four-piece summon the ghosts of metal past to create an unsparing album that's unmistakably contemporary. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 30, 2022
The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 19, 2019
