lyrics
life, consume us all. leave the void of eternal greed. disconnect myself and fall asleep. somewhere between all the words i said i still see your hands reaching out for me. now i find myself digging holes in frozen seas to see what lies beneath. i’m crashing. i’m sinking deeper down to the bottom of my own existence. let me go. i’m sinking deeper into the frozen blue. and on it’s bottom i’ll find my truth. i’ll find you. reignite what used to be ceased. educated my own enemies. nothing to care for, nothing to crave. down in the depths is where i am safe. let me down to my grave. in the depths i am safe. and when we all fade away will it be me being missed? it’s like i’m homesick for a place that doesn’t exist.

It's a MONSTER! Deep and slow riffing & double bass attack: Reminds at old Bolt Thrower, but with own sound and own style- I love this bastard. Igor Asambosam

While Ofte jeg drømmer mig død will most likely always be my favourite Afsky album (being one ov my favourite albums in general), Om hundrede år ticks all the boxes I hoped it would: the calm and simultaneously depressing folk elements are there; the wailing screams of a forlorn spirit, forced to eternally wander the woods (apt comparison, deadpunk!); the harsh, bitterly cold guitar riffs and the ultimate realisation of life, death and our inevitable undoing. Exactly what I want. Recommended! David Fischer
The UK four-piece summon the ghosts of metal past to create an unsparing album that's unmistakably contemporary. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 30, 2022
The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020
"Curse These Metal Hands" parlays the UK bands' chemistry into a record which—for all its tinnitus-inducing ferocity and elegiac arrangements—practically drips with transcendent joy. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 19, 2019

One of the best black metal bands of the last 8 years, which means they're beyond the boring tropes of the label. Intelligent and innovative with music geared towards the emotive ends of the work, not an adornment of scene badges or theatrical misanthropy. stevstemac
